This year’s rally committee could have only hoped that we could exceed last year’s fun and adventure. Our goal was to at least meet or hopefully do a little better for the kids of St Jude. Our SCRC family did just that and whole lot more!! We have heard from most of the officers and a lot of the members, all have said they had a great time. That this year was much smoother and even more organized. It just goes to show that practice does make you better.
Well this year was just outstanding. The whole committee did a superb job! I believe it was unanimous that Oakhurst was a great place to hold this year’s event. Adding more routes to ride, whether in a group or on your own, proved to be a favorite to all. Adding the biker games was a huge success as well. We, the committee, have already been asked “Are we doing it again next year?” Our answer has been … “Absolutely! ”
Yesterday Sparky, Don, Brian, Cheryl and I got together and finalized the books.
So drum roll please…… Here is the final tally for the 4th annual Ca State Rally……….
221 members, family and friends attended the rally. And the total amount of money raised for St Jude Children’s Hospital is $15,822.90
Way to go SCRC WE ROCK !!!
